Tui Bird began with a simple idea: to craft honey that reflects the purity and beauty of Aotearoa. Named after the iconic tūī — a native bird known for its melodic song and love of nectar — our brand honours the harmony between land, bees, and people.
Proudly New Zealand owned and operated, we work across the rugged landscapes of both the North and South Islands. From alpine valleys to coastal bush, our hives are placed in some of the country’s most untouched environments.
At the heart of Tui Bird is a collective of dedicated apiarists — guardians of the land and skilled caretakers of bees. With generations of knowledge, they practise ethical, sustainable beekeeping and harvest with care and integrity.
We’re hands-on from hive to jar. Our team oversees the purification and processing of every batch, and all honey is independently tested to ensure exceptional quality and authenticity.
